The connector automatically retrieves all payout files from your PayPal account and matches each transaction to the correct open invoice in Exact Online. PayPal transaction fees are also automatically booked separately to the correct general ledger account. During installation, you will configure the following settings: (1) Administration: select the administration in which entries will be created. (2) Journal: select the bank journal for PayPal entries (type: Balance – Bank). (3) Debtors: select the default general ledger account for debtors (type: Balance – Debtors). (4) Transaction costs: select the general ledger account for transaction costs (type: P&L – Costs). (5) Payouts: select the interim account for PayPal payouts (type: Balance – General). Optionally, you can export historical payouts by setting a start date.
