Our story
Passion for user-friendly software
The idea for Combidesk was born when Tim discovered that few Dutch software packages could be linked via API platforms. A few platforms existed overseas, but then with local integrations. And in 2014, we were on the verge of an API economy, Tim told the idea of an API integration platform to former elementary school friend and software developer Bas. He immediately became enthusiastic and shared it with former colleague and old fellow student Eddy. The two have known each other since their studies at the University of Twente and both envisioned a future called Combidesk. The three-man team was forged.
2014
Tim, Bas and Eddy start the Combidesk adventure in the evenings to help SME entrepreneurs connect their business software.
2015
All furloughs are cancelled, full-time jobs are canceled and full throttle is being developed on the first generic links for webshop platforms CCV Shop and Lightspeed.
2016
Combidesk only focuses on standard apps in order to help as many entrepreneurs as possible.
2018
Teamleader, Orderchamp, Simplicate and Eijsink choose Combidesk as their regular implementation partner to link their software with various software packages.
2022
Finally, Combidesk is renewing its marketing website, resulting in this beautiful timeline!
2024
Combidesk is the market leader in the Netherlands and Belgium in the field of API-based software integration for SME entrepreneurs. And foreign growth is rocketing 🚀!
